Museum Education Program – Thursday, January 30, 2025, 15:30 PM
The museum's collaboration with the HaiHui Association in Words has reached its fourth educational project: "The Legacy of Gold - From Ore to Ornament", which complements the exhibition "Forgotten Warriors and Eternal Ornaments", recently opened at MNIT (2nd floor).
By The first activity, "Chain of Crafts - Miniature Tools", gives you the opportunity to discover the historical value of the treasure from Șimleu and better understand the crafts of the past. Together we will discover a special piece - a gold chain, weighing 70,57 g and 92 cm long, with 52 pendants representing ancient crafts: farmer, blacksmith, carpenter, jeweler, fisherman, boatman, warrior, butcher and many others. Together with the museum educators, children will explore history and create their own "miniature tools".
