WE RESEARCH

With a lot of passion and respect for the past, we try to find out the history of the artifacts in our collection, to find out the history of our community, our city, Transylvania.

WE COLLECT

Our museum has a heritage of over 450 pieces. We have so many stories to tell that together shape the history and identity of Transylvania. You just have to discover them.

WE PRESERVE AND RESTORE

The laboratory employs expert restorers, specialists in ceramic/glass, textile, metal, paper, wood and painting restoration. We research, publish and participate in national and international conferences, but also in restoration salons.

WE EDUCATE

Our museum education activities are dedicated to all age groups and offer engaging, interactive and interdisciplinary experiences for our visitors to better understand the history of the objects we exhibit.

EXHIBIT

The museum organizes numerous temporary indoor and outdoor exhibitions, at our headquarters, at the offices of our partners or in non-conventional spaces.

Everything we know about our heritage we try to share. We publish specialist studies, we print the museum magazine, exhibition catalogs every year, we participate in conferences, workshops and workshops.
