Dear Dragobete, we are waiting for you at the National History Museum of Transylvania! 
We invite you to discover the secrets of love at our story workshop. You will be transposed into a love story between a god and a beautiful king girl. This moving narrative will inspire you to weave a laurel wreath, a symbol of purity. Discover unique surprises, available only to workshop visitors. We invite you to join us in exploring this love story, where emotion and creativity intertwine in a memorable experience.

MEDIEVAL NIGHT AT MNIT
31 October, 19.00 – 24.00 (23.30 last entry)
Because we want to mark the opening of the Medieval and Premodern Lapidary, and we also know how eager you are to play Halloween, we thought we'd challenge you again: you dress up as medieval characters and have free entry to all our exhibitions.
We provide the setting: sets, lights, projections in the courtyard, music, entertainers and museum education workshops At the gates of hell: Admetus and Alcestis*.
You populate the atmosphere: dress up in skulls, witches, anything dark and gothic to spend Halloween night together.
The first 100 costumed children receive a surprise gift!

Museum education workshops are held in the exhibition Greeks overseas (II floor), from 19.30, 20.30 and 21.30. Entry is free, without an appointment, but limited to the available places (15 places/workshop).

We are waiting for you at museum education workshops with free access, for children aged between 6 and 11 years (12.00 – 16.00, 4 workshops) – Scarab – from animal to god.
– The workshops are held within the project The 12 papyri. From Life to Immortality in Ancient Egypt.
– The workshops last one hour each and have a maximum capacity of 15 participants.

LIGHTS ON
November 18-27, 2022, National History Museum of Transylvania
MNIT was also a partner of the festival Lights On Romania 2022 – Intersection Edition, in the organization of the exhibition related to moments of light in Cluj, from 10×10.
Every day, until 22.00:XNUMX p.m., the light installation "Man in the world and the world in man" could be visited in the gang of the museum. Placed at the entrance of the National Museum of Transylvanian History, the shapes of the silhouettes want to highlight the fact that man gives life to the city, materializing everything it contains in a living body. They were made by analyzing several stereotypes of individuals, with various physiognomic features, asymmetric and natural elements. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's me.
Teodor Buruiană, graduate of the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design from the University of Art and Design in Cluj-Napoca, class 2018-2021, brings the installation "Man in the world and the world in man" to Lights On this year.

SONORO, ORIENT EXPRESS
September 16 – October 2, 2022, in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca
The 16th edition of the SoNoRo International Chamber Music Festival, entitled Orient Express, took place between September 2 and October 2022, XNUMX, in Bucharest and Cluj-Napoca.
This year's theme was inspired by the luxurious train journeys of the famous La Belle Époque period and continued the tradition of previous editions, where the tone dictated by the name was imprinted in the smallest details: the chosen repertoire, the unconventional spaces, the guest musicians and the general atmosphere .
